Hey, I'm no fan of Phil Collins (well, not since about 1975!), but what did he do that pissed off the writers of southpark? In the Timmy episode the other night, they seemed to go out of their way to nail him (ok with me, hilarious in fact) - -just wondering if he's done or said anything about southpark that would cause them to hit him so bad?

Notice he was holding an "Oscar" the whole time? Phil's song from Tarzan beat out "Blame Canada" from the South Park movie for the Oscar.

Truthfully, "Blame Canada" had no realistic chance of winning the Oscar considering the politics of the Academy. They would never have given it to a movie that blasts the MPAA. Phil Collins does not decide the winner of the Oscar. To take it out on him, in my opinion, is just being a very sore loser.

Actually, both Aimee Mann and Sarah McLaughlin were nominated. Sarah McLaughlin for Jessie's Song in Toy Story 2. Aimee Mann's song and the movie it was in totally escapes me at the moment, however. :)

Sorry, but while Sarah Maclaughlin did indeed perform the song "When she loved me." she did not write it. It was written by Randy Newman, who was nominated for the Oscar.
