The cliffhanger didn't resolve anything. Not a big surprise. I think that's the end of it.
Apparently,It really was meant to be a 2nd season episode. Just look at the different intro.
I didn't find the last 3 episodes that funny, but the whole idea of getting everybody worked up is hilarious.
