First, I just want to thank everyone that's written to me about the SouthJack cartoon strip! The feedback has been great! A couple of people did, however, mention concern about the possibility of copyright infringement. So, I just want to state this for the record....
While all of the artwork and script for the SouthJack cartoon was created by myself, it largely based upon the artwork, themes and humor created by Trey Parker, Matt Stone (The Dynamic South Park Duo...gotta love 'em) and their entire creative staff. I only take credit for SouthJack as a PARODY of South Park and *NOT* as a truly unique or original creation!
It was my intention to create SouthJack as a way of adding something fun to our band's website (since most 'band' sites just bore me to tears!) It is also my sincere desire that the SouthJack cartoon strip be viewed as a tribute to Matt and Trey's creation out of my (and the entire bands') personal love for South Park!
And, hey, Trey and Matt (if you're out there)....how 'bout puttin' Pumpjack in a South Park episode?! Come on, guys, look at us...we're cute...we're adorable...we're drunk...we're dirty little West Texas bastards...we'll fit right in (and it would really help us score chix)!
