It could be a reference to Alien Ressurection, where the group finds a twisted half-human, half-alien ripley that's saying "Kill me".
The Towlie episode did a very spot on reference to that particualry scene.
That "Kill Me" thing has been done in other movies as well, I think. It was in the first Alien movie as a deleted scene and probably in other sci-fi movies too.
