Episode Names

Is there any official list of episode names? Some seem to have 2 or three ... :)

Yes. Go to www.comedycentral.com/southpark for the episode guide (though I don't know if it's updated or not). If it isn't updated, e-mail me and I'll give you the names of the more recent ones.

Here are some corrections...

#217 Gnomes #303 Chef's Mama #304 Tweek vs. Craig #305 Jakovasaurs

I cannot confirm this. I think SPCentral and beef-cake even called it 'underpants gnomes', i'll have to check with Comedy Central's site on that one.

IT IS called 'The Succubus' like i said in the list. This is a similar case to Ep. 308, but Comedy Central officially named it 'The Succubus. If it really was called 'Chef's mama, it would be wrong, cos chef's mom wasn't involved in the plot. So it is 'The Succubus'

Nope. The official episode number for Tweek vs. Craig was 305, and Jakovasaurs was 304. I know they aired in opposite order, but then again, Episode 312 aired before 310 and 311 did as well.

Actually, he was right... Tweek vs Craig is 304 and Jakovasaurs is 305. 303 is also called Chef's Mama. Look at the episode guide for season 3 on the Comedy Central site, it's at:

This confusion was a problem - I was downloading Jackovasaurs, which was numbered 304, then halfway through I stopped it to start the next day. When I restarted it, they have changed its number to 305, and I ended up with half of each episode!

Comedycentral.com/southpark, SPCentral, mr hat's hell hole, and beef-cake.com, all say that it was called 'The Succubus'. I think it may have been originally titled Chef's mama, but it had been changed by ComedyCentral at some point.

At least as of yesterday, Comedy Central's episode guide still lists it as "Chef's Mama." Which I seem to recall was also the name they listed it under in their schedule when it was first broadcast. I suppose for the definitive answer we may have to wait for the video release...

Okay, okay. I just visited CC's site, and yes, it is listed as "Chef's mama"

But I think it may have formerly been called "The Succubus". After hearing that it was chef's mama, I remember seeing it listed as 'the succubus' on Comedycentral's site a few weeks after the episode was released, but it now says "Chef's mama" in the episode list.

Believe me, they have done it before, remember episode 207? That was originally called "Flashbacks" and it was strangely changed to "City on the Edge of Forever" a while after.

And yes, Episode 314 is called "The Red Badge Of Gayness".

Episode 317 which is airing on December 29th is un-named as of yet, but it will be a millenium special. In the meantime, CC will air '305: Jakovasaurs' tonight @ 10PM.

This was the case when polling was being done for the Cartman Chronicles. The CC episode guides neven did change the name. But I do notice "Naked" was removed from Episode 308's title.
