South Park videos are out!!!

I was up at Suncoast Motion Picture tonight and saw they had the South Park videos in. Did anybody get them yet? If so, are they uncensored? I (as well as a few other people, I'm sure) would like to know. Post to the newsgorup only, please. TIA

I am, needless to say, highly pissed.

There are hillarious "Fireside chats" with Matt and Trey before each episode, where they talk a little about the episode and say it's their favorite, while petting "Old Scratch" the dog. (the breed of dog changes every other cut). The facial expressions during the chats are great, and they refer to "An Elephant Makes Love to a Pig" as "An Elephant Fucks a Pig".

But everything is still censored. Foul! Foul, I say! Foul!

Even "Kyle's mom is a dirty Jew" is censored. I'm glad I taped that episode back before they fucked it up.

So if you want good quality recordings of the episodes, it's probably worth it... but if you only wanted the videos so you could have uncensored versions, save your money.

You and me both!! I wish I'd waited until some dumb ass like myself bought the F#%KIN' tapes so that I'd have saved myself $30! Boy... you can't trust nobody nowaday to let you cuss or be cussed in peace!

It's not like we don't know what words are being said, and those lose their shock value (and get boring) pretty fast IMHO. Years ago comedians used to use such words to get nervous laughter -- but they kept having to use more outrageous ones because words got quickly overused and got no response (remember, there was a time when the mildest of words were censored -- as in "d@mn"!)! I know Kyle and Trey are intelligent enough to use real, clever dialogue and not fall back on the "cussing" to make it funny, to get an easy laugh -- apart from the fact that these *kids* are saying what some consider "forbidden" words makes it funny.

Whichever way, I hope the tapes are a huge success.

Well, don't get me wrong... I LOVE South Park. It's the best thing since Cheesy Poofs! I'm just frustrated because I was under the impression that there would be no Bleeps in the bought tapes. My hopes were up and I was slammed. Bummer. But even so, I'll watch these eps 'til the tapes are worn out because I just can't get enough of these characters! They are just tooo hilarious! As a matter of fact, my eyes still water when I watch 'An Elephant Makes Love to a Pig', and I've seen it like15 times already.
