Ok. So I admit when I saw the movie I had no idea that this scene would be in there. Man, it made me squirm (SP?). I had not expected it AT ALL. So what if people know about the scene now? Why do you care? Do you really think giving away this scene subtracts from the movie so much as to lower yourself by saying, "Oh MY! He gave it away! BASEketball is no longer funny!". Please. There are alot of other great things that happen during the movie that make this movie so great. If the movie were to rise or fall just because of the one scene, the box office results would make sense. However, for those of us who have seen it, we all know the movie is hilarious for 1000 other reasons. The movie is out of theaters. If people were going to see it, they did. If not, the movie isn't ruined by any stretch of the imagination.
Isn't there something in the FAQ about this kind of tedious nonsense?

When they were on "LoveLine", they somehow got on the topic of not being able to get chicks by going up to them and talking to them. "Even if you're rich and famous, they'll still ignore you", or words to that effect... so I don't think they're gay, just incredibly bitter about not being able to find wimmin. Not unlike me.

Real Video is a lot smaller than AVI or MOV, which would be 100's of MB per file. Be happy. Buy it on Video Tape if you want it so bad. You're lucky they're posted at all, because legally they shouldn't be, but CC has been nice about it. David Morgan wrote in message ...

they seem to vary in size alot. I have seen them from 7meg---72meg. the resolution and screen size also differs, possibly this is the cause?
It also depends on how much they compress the file I believe. More compresssion, worse quality pic.
Whether they are gay or not, I was really disturbed by the audience reaction when the kissing scene occurred both times that I saw BASEketball. Yes, they are kissing, but the audience was acting as if it was 100 times sicker than Trey sucking on Marlon Brando's buttfat.

If you think that wasn't a troll (and I can't say for sure), what would it mean to you? In the kindest interpretation, that might actually be the purpose of his "Now what?" That is, what would it change for you? If you learned that one of them was gay, but you weren't told *which*, you'd want to know, wouldn't you? And you'd jump at any post, newscast, or gossip headline that hinted it might tell you.
But if you learned that one of them was gay and you *were* told which one, you wouldn't ponder the topic much further, would you? (I mean *after* maybe a few days of absorbing some sensationalized details.) Pretty soon it'd be last month's news and the spotlight would fade a little because of it.

Interesting interpretation...I, of course, took the more immediate meaning, that he seems to 'know for sure'. But with his 'now what', he probably doesn't. Adding my $0.02, if Trey was gay I would be disappointed. If Matt was gay, I wouldn't care much at all. I'd watch South Park, I'd watch BASEketball, I'd watch Cannibal (which I *need* to see), and I'd laugh like I'd do when there was some doubt. But there is always curiosity. And sometimes, guessing is fun.
