Hi, i'm looking for mpegs of southpark because in germany you can only see season one. i've tryed http://www.interchaos.com but that server is pretty slow. Can anybody help me?!

Why download mpgs ? Download *.rm instead , they are much smaller.....

Because Real____ sucks in terms of picture/sound quality. Also, you can't burn a VCD from Real files and expect them to play in a standard DVD player like you can with MPEGs. I suppose if Real is the only way to see something, it will have to do...

Right! Anyway, I still haven't found a new ftp-server where I can get MPEGs or *.rm. I agree that rm-files are sh** but as it seems to be impossible to get mpegs I would also take real-files. So where are they? Is there a fast server because the one I've tried is really slow. thanks dirk

I haven't found a single ftp server that stays up and has the new episodes in a timely fashion, but I have found that everything is available over IRC. I personally use #southpark-episodes on DALnet, but I know that EFnet and Undernet also have trader channels. Log into the channel, read the welcome message for the trigger, and then it's basically like FTP from the command line. I was about to download Fingerbang (episode 409 from last night) starting at midnight, less than 90 minutes after it finished showing.

Try alt.binaries.southpark. MPEG episodes are posted there all the time, albeit in numerous smaller chunks that need to be reassembled with special software.

Alright then, you can stay away from "special" software like WinZip or PKUNZIP, right? While you're at it, you can also stay away from "special" software like QuickTime Player and anything that plays MP3s.

The "special" software I referred to is simply a ZIP-like program that is preferred by the episode uploaders and downloaders; it handles large files better or something. It's not like you need it to play the file after it's assembled.
