Kim and I made up this question. It wasn't made for any spesific reason, just for the hell of it. So here it is (answer if you like, but remember folks, it's all just a bunch of tree-huggin hippioe crap!!)

Would Kenny be the same if here were drawn with a bright purple parka? (This is not just a yes or no question :) )

Acutally a very interesting question...since it brings up two very deep points....

1) According to Freudian psychology...color reflects mood. Wearing purple is supposed to be a subconsious expression of sexual frustration (hey...what can i say...Freud was one sick dude!). Thus, given Kenny's "dirty little mind"...that would really fit his personality.

2) It brings up the old Shakespearean question..."would a rose by any other name, smell as sweet..."....except here...it's "would Kenny with a different parka still be Kenny?"....just as Juliet found out in that tragic play... it think the answer is yes.

This concludes our test of the emergency cerebral stimulation posting system. Had this been an actual attempt at intellectual hyperbole, the posting you just read would have been followed by massive flaming. This has just been a test.....

You are correct sir, in my haste to make the correlation, I did not stop to iron out the exact context of Romeo's quandry. But you have to admit...it was a cute analogy!!!

If we're going to get all *technical* here, you tend to get that sort of an interpretation when you add in superfluous commas.

The line should read: "Wherefore art thou Romeo?"

In answer to the initial question:

No. Kenny in a purple parka wouldn't be the same as our familiar Kenny in the orange parka. It would ruin the fung shui, or however the hell you spell that. The point is that the balance of colors would be totally thrown off. It'd give the whole show a much darker, more brooding feel than it has now. I think. I mean, Kenny himself might not change, but the way his presence influences the ambience of South Park would change.
