Best "Inspired By..." song on the soundtrack album

By "Inspired by..." I mean songs that were on the soundtrack album but not in the film.

I liked Good Love 69-69 and Brian Boitano Part 2, but my favorite was probably Klye's Mama Is a Big Fat Bitch.

This song IS in the movie. It's the first song with the credits.

I think he's talking about the punk rock version, that kicked ass. I thought that one sounded really awesome, not to mention Kid Rock's "Kyle's Mama Is a Big Fat Bitch". It was cool to hear the midget rap a little. The only song version that totally blew the orginal out of the water was "I Can Change" by the Violent Femms. The band totally turned a song that sucked into something decent and worth a listen.

Actually, the full song isn't. They clipped it. :) Listen next time you see the movie, you'll see a verse missing. So one could make a case, that the song isn't in the movie, because it was an altered version. Ofcourse, "Mountain Town" and "Kyle's mom is a bitch" are altered versions on the soundtrack.

But, this didn't ask for songs in the movie. It asked for inspired by, which is what the DVDA version of "What would brian Boitano do?" is. :) Make sense?

OK, we're going to see it again in a week or so (when a friend is freed up from having to babysit her own Terrance & Phillip), so tell me how those two songs are different from the CD.

Moutain Town is WAY differant. The one that I noticed right away is when Stan gets Kenny. In the soundtrack, Kenny's mom answeres the door, in the movie Stan just knocks on the door and goes "dude!". And Kenny comes running out. Kenny's mom doesn't yell "KENNY! Kenny, damnit wake up" and all that. Also, Kyle's mom yells at Ike in the movie, in the soundtrack she doesn't. There are more, but I didn't write them all down. :)

Uncle Fucka is also differant. The ending to the soundtrack version of the song is slightly differant than the movie version.

Kyle's mom is a bitch cuts out Kyle yelling at Eric and some other things.

"Up There" sounds totally differant.

Those are some things to look for.

Hmmm. As I remember it, Kenny's mom does yell at him some. And he is in bed, so he can't come runningout uintil she does yell at him. I remember that because she sounds SOOOO Trailer-trash. The part about Sheila yelling at Ike is where they add something over the soundtrack, extra dialogue. That's common in all movie musicals. I should sneak a tape recorder into the theater!

Yeah, that's the only track on Chef Aid that I totally despise. I don't really care for the rap, but it's *ok*. The rest of Chef Aid kicks ass, tho. :)
