M'kay, what are their sizes? 150-160 megs? More? Less?

the Z version is about 700meg

That's nothing - a full-length movie compressed without much loss of data is well in excess of that, hence their release on DVD (~4.3G capacity) rather than CD-ROM.

DVDs can hold over 15Gs!

Not currently they can't since they can't make dual layer dual sided disks yet. Once they do we'll have about 18gb, until then it's *either* dual sided or dual layer and thus about 9gb. Still more than enough space for the movie though.

Gladly! But last I heard, when it does come out on video, it will cost $90 or more - the price of a film meant for rental and not sale. Of course, if anyone has the latest on the sale price, post it, and I will wait.

Well, we could, but what fun is that? I've already paid to see the movie three times and will buy the DVD the day it comes out, but I want to watch it nooowwww! Plus just think how much better it would be to watch it on your laptop on a long flight instead of You've Got Mail or whatever pablum the airline is showing. Hmmmmmmm, must remember to move a few episodes to the laptop before next trip.

Actually, if anybody has the 700 meg movie, I'd like four screenshots from it.

1. A shot of the classroom when the kids sing Uncle Fucka before Mr. Garrison enters.

2. A shot of the Rehab room where three posters are seen in the background, just as Mr. Mackey announces why the kids are there.

3. A shot of the newspaper announcing Terrance and Phillip on Conan O'Brien's show

4. A shot of the schedule to the left of the ER entrance just after Kenny is brought in and the doors are closed for an instant.

Okay, a fifth one: A shot of the four windows, one for each group, near the end of "La Resistance (Medley)"

WHAT??? That's about three days non-stop downloading on my 56k connection!
