you know when my fiance died in a drunk driving accident i was devastated in was gonna blow my brains out with my service revolver. I could have blamed MADD for not being effective enough to keep their own fucking members sober (ironicly she was killed by a drunk mother and a member of MADD)

I'm sorry for your loss, friend, but the drunk mother wasn't a twelve-year-old child, and MADD was not her parents. Parents are not only obligated to watch their children by law, they're obligated by the ties of blood and family. It isn't a shame that this boy killed himself. It's a tragedy.

Well, if more people had sympathy for others, even thought you don't know them personally, no matter in what state of mind those people are, maybe this world would be a little les fucked up. I don't claim to know his personal and emotional situation, but maybe if that kid had received sympathy during his life he might be alive today. Your right on one thing, sympathy won't do shit for him now, it was when he was ALIVE that it should have been given to him. Think about that.

Well, he wanted to die. Maybe he's happy now. As for showing sympathy and pitying people, the world's crazy and life's a bitch. One person does not really make too much of a difference. Kids kill themselves all the time. The only reason this little runt is spoken of, is because he referred to Southpark in his suicide note. (correct me if I'm wrong.) For example, if I killed myself and blamed nothing, then none of you would hear about it.

Yes the world does seem to be going to hell in a hand basket, and yes life is usually a bitch at one time or another. But the mentality that "one person can never make a difference" is part of the cause, not saying the only mind you, but a big part of it. People just say "ah the hell with it, let the some one else handle it," but with most people thinking this way NO ONE is handling it because no one gives a crap. Now I have no clue what this kid's situation was, or real circumstances for his acts were, but maybe, just maybe, if he had had a good friend or relative that had cared enough to take interest in his life, he might have not taken it. I cannot sit here in judgement of him or anyone that makes a mistake in their life no matter how big or permanent that mistake is, I have made many myself although obviously I've never commited the unltimate one of suicide.

And yes, we would have probably never heard of him (on this newsgroup atleast) if he had not mentioned South Park on his note, but I don't see how that has anything to do with someone feeling sorry for the kid, or his family, or the situation in general.

It's shame that there are so many stupid young boys in this newsgroup who make such ignorant comments about the death of another foolish young boy who died too soon.

As someone who's wanted to kill himself on many occasions, I'd like to point out that human beings are choking the planet with their numbers. If we continue to grow as a population, starvation will be a grim reality within a hundred years. Not that one less person will change that.

That this kid was allowed to develop the problems that he obviously had is what we should be concerned with here, not whether the human race is overpopulated, or whether we should be glad a sicko got rid of himself.

He never should have been allowed to get to the point he was at that he had to do what he did.

Blame the parents, blame society, blame whoever the hell you want. Did it ever occur to those of you that think this is funny and cool that you thinking that is just as twisted?
