*plonk*

Just thought if people used a few *plonks* here and there instead of replying to trolls, arseholes and the like, they might just go away due to lack of response.

Maybe I should explain what *plonk* is??? :))) They're good for ignoring binaries too.

*plonk* is that atisfying noise that a person makes when his/her name is dropped into a newsreader killfile. It's wonderful. It's like that person no longer exists, because his/her posts no longer show up in your newsreading window.

This is, of course, assuming you have a newsreader that supports killfiles.

I don't advocate it for binaries, though, because binaries should have action taken - too many binaries in a discussion newsgroup is asking for trouble. Yeah, *plonking* them will make them go away for you, but if you ignore them too long, there's a chance the newsgroup will stop being carried...

If only it were possible with Deja News... hell, maybe it is. But I can't be bothered to actually look for some way to killfile people! I'm busy, got lots of stuff to do. Like... uh... er... hmm. Moving right along...
