I noticed the following on a page about SPBLU:
Runtime: USA 80 / UK 81 / France 81 / Norway 82
I can understand that the film may be made longer by dubbing into a foreign language, but why was it a minute longer here than in USA where it was made? They speak our language, so I see no reason for any alterations. Any ideas anyone?
Um... they slowed it down just a bit so that the slower Brits can understand it?

Don't forget that that's in minutes, so it was rounded from minutes:seconds. Maybe the USA rounded down, and UK rounded up...Either way, it works out at about 81 minutes

England still, for the most part, uses the old imperial system. You still get 'Quarter Pounders with cheese', not 'Royales with cheese' here, though you'd be better off with a 'Big Kahuna burger' anyway.
I can understand us still using miles....but why we have to stick with grammes, ounces, pounds and stones is beyond me....
