A Kid's Review

and disgusting! This is the worst excuse for a "Children's Show" I've ever seen. I noticed my five year old and my eight year old watching it and assumed, since it was an animated show, it was good for my children. And sure enough, my friends told me it was a great, funny show children and adults could watch together. So, I sat down one day to watch it with my children. I was utterly horrified. The episode we watched had the following vulgar insults and foul "humor":

the fat kid called everybody a dildo and when he called his cat such his mother said "Well, then I know a certain kitty-kitty who is sleeping with mommy tonight...

in addition, there were tons of filthy sex jokes completely inappropriate for a kid's show. The school chef sang a song about laying a women down by the fire and making "sweet" love to her.

Parents, I urge you to protest this show. It is intended for children but not appropriate for them. I hope to see it destroyed and burned so our children's minds are not warped any further.

PS: I couldn't figure out how to write a review without showing my e-mail address, so I went under a children's review.

Could be? I wondered about that myself. If it is a put-on, they did manage to resist laying it on *too* thick (i.e no Xtian references).

Of course not. But to a moron, anything that's animated is automatically a children's show. I posted the review here because I was amazed at the writer's stupidity.

I've been on the "internets" for about 11 years. However, I never cease to be amazed at new examples of human stupidity, both in cyberspace and in real life.

I went to the opening of Team America. You wouldn't believe the number of parents there with 5 year olds. I never seen so many people walk out of a movie so disgusted. Just because it was puppets, they ignored the R rating and warnings that it was not suitable for children.

Maybe I _would_ believe the number of parents with 5 year olds. Would you say there were four? Six? About twenty?

When I went to see Team America, I didn't notice any young kids present. There might well have been some, but I didn't notice any.

The MPAA rating system (flawed though it may be) exists for a reason. While there are many kids' movies that have PG ratings, an R rating virtually always means "not a kiddie film"!

I almost typed "an R rating always means a film for adults", then I remembered "Porky's" and "Risky Business". Even those films are not for kindergarten kids!

Thanks for the link. I remember reading a similar condemnation of the South Park movie from a Jesus freak perspective when the film was first released.

Interesting how one of the things they object to is "lust for war". These same Jesus freaks should object to lust for war when it's practiced by their real-life government, but they apparently only object to this behavior when it's done by animated cartoon characters. These are the real-life Sheila Broslofskis; the kinds of people who would have Terrence and Phillip executed for doing fart jokes.

Right-wing reactionaries like that ought to all go and fuck their uncles.

It is their cluelessness that is the most entertaining part of their review. The fact that southpark was lampooning itself with the T&P and then lampooning the reaction to southpark with the movietown's reaction to T&P is totally lost of the capalert morons.

Nah. They send their kids to catholic schools for that.
