I mentioned on my site that I might be selling the SOXMAS video for 7 bucks priority mail. But, I recently checked out "The Official SOXMAS Distribution site" from where I got mine and it no longer sells it VHS. So, is it ok to sell it VHS or not? I really don't want to do anything illegal. So, I'm asking you guys. Yes, I'm an AOLER, but still help me out!

I don't think you can sell it for any amount of money legally, because you don't own the copyright to it. If you did sell it without the copyright, then it is bootlegging. However, if someone just gave you money for Shipping and the Cost of the Actual Tape, Then That Is Okay. ---Smith

Thanks for answering guys. But, I've found out that it no longer is ok to sell it. I talked to the guy at the "official SOXMAS distribution site" and he said he had to take it down because of CC telling him to. SO, I will not be doing it.

This is ok.. by law, even if something is copyrighted. If you sell the tape and make a profit off of it then thats illegal but if you sell the tape to cover the cost of the tape and the shipping and handling then its ok. Its like if I got a copy of the episode from you and all I did was pay for the shipping and handling, then they cant touch you. People do this all the time and companies cant touch them cause its the same fact as people who sell stuff at like conventions or even in a garage sale to say the fact. Btw..
