Pip's Parents

Ok, in the summer sucks ep Pip says he has to go to summer school cuz his parents are dead right? But in the latest "bus" (sorry I don't know the title) ep when all the parents are singing you see a french guy in a bourette (spelling?). It looked like pip or pip's father. Anyone have a tape they can go back to or something? -me

Actually what I was thinking was that we see Pip's family singing with him during the xmas (Mr. Hankey) episode and then again near the end of "Summer Sucks" when Chef returns and everyone's covered in soot. So are these people his parents or what? In addition Pip's dad couldn't have been wearing a beret because Pip isn't French. -Toni

If my son (if I had a son) hated being called "Frenchy", it would have no impact on whether or not I'd wear a beret.

Hmmm...ok, I didnt' get to see that episode when they re-aired it last week so I don't remember what this guy who you think could be Pip's dad was wearing besides the beret. What I meant originally was that perhaps since Pip hates being called Frenchy so would his parents. He might have picked it up from them and not just from the other children's teasing.

In addition I think that Pip's family would dress similarly to him...in those old fashioned type (19th century?) clothes and I don't think that Pip's dad would be wearing a beret because it would clash. -Toni
