You guys, the joke was on us! (It was pretty damn good too!) Trey and Matt completely lowered us down to the "toliet humor" that Terrance and Phillip is, and many people just don't realize that it takes a complete comic genius. I mean, look at all the people in this NG who are angry! They just don't get it. It's April Fools Day, what did you expect!?! Give Trey and Matt a round of applause-they deserve it! They played a great joke and all of us! :-)

Actually, I fully expected to not get the episode that I was hoping for. They still could have not told us who Cartman's father was without showing such a worthless episode. It's not genius to waste 30 minutes of airtime. I don't see how that episode got past the people at Comedy Central.

Damn Missy, you sure are easily pleased. That was the worst waste of TV airtime EVER. I wasn't expecting to find out who Cartman's father is, but a half hour of T&P is 29 minutes and 30 seconds too long. It is NOT funny. Comic genius? Come over and watch my cat lick her ass, THAT is funnier than the show last night.....

T & P aren't kids! They are adults with children of their own (or at least one "bastard daughter").
I've stayed out of this so far, but I have to say that this episode was hysterical! When it started I thought it would be awful, but they won me over really quickly. The courtroom scene at the beginning was all "fart jokes" and didn't really amuse me, but once the episode got going, I was laughing out loud. The fart jokes quickly took a back seat to the rest of the humor.
I was also very surprised that M & T would do an entire half hour of T & P. We all knew that we wouldn't find out who Cartman's father was (well, at least all of us who have a clue), but I was completely thrown by this! I was all smug and cynical, thinking "Ha, ha, they'll do something to prevent us from hearing who Cartman's father is and I'll be able to say 'I told you so!'," but this came from left field.
If I ever doubted it before, I am now certain that M & T are the greatest comic geniuses of this decade!
Actually, I agree with you. I'm apparently one of the few people who watched last night's show who thinks it was actually pretty funny. Sure, it took a while to get started, but once they got Saddam and Celine Dion in there, I thought it was hilarious. I didn't even notice all the farting and toilet humor, to tell you the truth - well, except for the finale at the end.
So we don't get to find out who Cartman's father is for a few more weeks. It's only a TV show - I think I can live with a few more weeks of suspense without my life being ruined. Excellent joke on Matt and Trey's part, in my opinion. As the two have said time and again, the point of South Park is to keep people asking "What the heck is that?"
They've succeeded once more!
