No, actually, she's relatively new to this group (considering this group has been around since 1996 or '97...I forget now...<it's late...forgive me! ;P>) When I researched this group on DejaNews, there was never anything stated by anyone who created it. It must be a mystery. 'Though someone named Reverand something-or-other (they say memory is the first to go ;P) created a veeeeery early SP FAQ.
