Offtopic: Where is Kilborn?

Ok, I know I haven't posted here in a while but I've been lurking (well lately anyway). One question I want to ask because you are the only people I know that actually care....what the hell has gone wrong with the Daily show? It S*U*C*K*S, Jon is not funny and if I have to make a massacre in front of the ComCen building I will do it (hmm sound familiar?) as long as they bring Kilborn back. Offer him millions, he was the funniest person and PERFECT for the show....how could they get JON STEWART! Man....this BLOWS! OK...now that I have ranted and raved...all comments are welcome :) -me

Craig Kilborn is taking over for that boring old fart Tom Snyder on late nights, opposite Conan O'Brien. I believe he starts somewhere around mid March.... it will be interesting to see how Craig and Conan go at it... they're targeting similarly-aged audiences but have different styles of humor.

I could be being a BIT harsh, after all I never saw the show without Kilborn so maybe Jon will put his own little special touch on it...I dunno. Ya know, like Craig has the 5 questions and stuff like that. -me

That is strange. Everyone I talked to was either one way or the other. Some though Kilborn was funny as hell, and others thought he sucked. No one is neutral....that's it the goverment is doing illegal testing again :) -me

Far as I know, Kilborn hasn't taken over yet, and won't do so until March. So how do you know if he's just as good as ever?

Bang! Ya got me.

I hadn't seen it (obviously), but wasn't aware his start would be
delayed for so long, but by that point in the post, I was so deep into
"Defend Craig" mode, I slipped up.  I love the guy.  What can I say?

I don't have a problem with you defending Craiggers... I'd defend him, too... but it's not ethical to say he still maintains a great comedic angle when we haven't seen his new show yet.

Guaranteed I'll be watching on day one... it will be interesting to see how Craig and Conan fare against each other.

I like Stewart too, but I also liked Kilborn, however he was starting to wear thin. So I think the change will do the show some good. I'm glad Beth Littleford is staying, she always has the best interviews. As far as Kilborn goes, I think he's taking over Tom Snyder's Late Late Show, and I personally think, he'll go the way of Bill Maher and Politically Incorrect. I used to like PI, but haven't seen one show since it moved to ABC(?), and I never hear anybody even mention Politically Incorrect anymore.
