First off, the 4/22 episode was a riot. Enough personal opinion about that from me....
One of my friends is a 5th grade teacher and her students watch and love Southpark. They go up to her every day and ask her if she knows who Cartman is, and they say little lines from the episodes.
Her boyfriend asked her how she was going to deal with the questions concerning Eric's mom... She had no clue. What does one say to a 5th grader when he comes to you and says, "What do they mean his mom is his dad?" or "What was that 'herma-something' word?"
I know that it's up to parents to have the final say to what their children watch and don't watch, and it MAY be a big decision to let them stay up and watch SP, but it's interesting to try and fathom what these kids are going to ask their teacher .... or their parents, for that matter...
I haven't spoken to her yet (since the episode), so I have no idea how she handled it.
Just a thought....
