Normally I roll my eyes before opening a "Worst Episode Ever" post, since they're usually from people who claim 75% of eps are "worst" and who offer little else to the discussion. But in this case, I completely agree. You have to wonder if maybe M&T were just in a big hurry to get a new ep written, so they just assembled some of the worst unused crap they'd had sitting around and called it TV. It's been a quiet suspicion of several people I know that that's actually the real origin of this episode *and* of the creatures' names, i.e., jackoff/nonsense/worthless.
