This one really made my Christmas!
While traveling on the Metro in Rome 12/24 I was listening to a prerecorded holiday special on "RAI 1". After a few American Christmas classics, the announcer proceeded to say... for all of our Jewish friends out there, here's a traditional Jewish holiday song for you...
And then they played it! Yes, the SP version of the dreidle song - complete with the Courtney Cox verse! I was laughing so hard I almost fell off the seat!! :) Clearly somebody didn't do their homework very well and probably just pulled a copy of the most popular "dreidle" song from the net!
I didn't hear or read any follow-ups on the news or an apology later, so I guess all the Jews in Rome must have liked it too!!
