...has become Spam City. Just take a look. Jeez.

I subscribe to it and don't see alot of spam, could you give me an idea of what you see? I know that my isp is real good at cutting out some of the spammers so I end up not seeing their posts.

Yep, complain to your isp. Include all headers. Depending on what newsreader you use, the command should be something like: Show all headers. Copy and paste it in an email and send it to abuse@yourisp and abuse@their _isp

Of course it's wrong. You're new to usenet aren't you? There are groups that have been totally dropped by all living people because they have been over-run with hundreds of spam posting a day. What you are talking about is actually very mild. Just an FYI.

Actually, I'm very used to Usenet! I've been online for about a year and a half now, and been using newsgroups all that time. I know not to post ENTIRELY IN CAPS or demand that something be done for me before looking at previous postings on Dejanews. I also know spam is wrong. I didn't, however, know about entire groups being dropped.
