I just wanted to let you all know how amusing it is to read this NG as even the kiddies and trailer park-dwelling adults who actually thought this piece of shit was funny are finally beginning to realize the sad truth. Out of ideas? The show's creators never had any, except to shock the audience. In the age of Jerry Springer that's apparently all the mental stimulation most of you need. It was pitiful to read interviews where these untalented hacks cited a truly innovative TV show like Monty Python as an influence. Let's hope they were just being smartasses when they said that. I'd hate to think that even those jerks are quite that cynical. And don't you think that something as heavily promoted as SP,(the cover of Newsweek, Tv Guide) has lost any pretense of being anti-establishment? I'm just a high school student and even I can see that! South Park was never funny and those of us with ANY brains at all realized it from the very beginning. So why do I bother with this NG? Because the show's fans on the other hand are a load of laughs. Your worship of this pretentious, banal drek has prompted me to giggle out loud uncontrollably many times. ( I've really enjoyed mocking you with my trolling posts over the past month. ) I'm done. You can go back to watching your little potty-mouthed child porno show now.

I don't understand why I read this newsgroup. Half of the posts are trolls, saying how much the recent episode sucked, how Trey and Matt are running out of ideas, or in this guy's case, how the show always sucked. I don't understand why we can't all express our opinions without shoving them down the other person's throat. The only signs of maturity I have seen here are from SnowCalico, Rev. Bob and Alyssa. Alyssa and Snow Calico are supposedly under the age of 18 (I think in that 'Too Much Time' fanfic Alyssa said she was 12) and so am I, and I feel that we are some of the most mature people here. I don't see why we can't all watch the show, enjoy it, write fanfiction and episode reviews, and just have fun with this newsgroup. Right now we're on the sidetopics of Marilyn Manson, other countries' women, and how much Trey and Matt are selling out. I suppose the question remains: Why do I stay in this newsgroup? Is it because I'm bored? Is it because I have no life? Is it because-ah, forget it! (note how I try desperatly to keep on-topic) I'd like to discuss something I like and enjoy without getting heavily flamed and I'm sure others do too. So DocWonmug can take his ass back to Ren and Stimpy (which is incredibly stupid, and if you want to see toilet humor, look no further) and we can go back to discussing South Park. Sorry for my rantings, but this guy just made me snap.

Notice how each week, it's practically the same set of posters writing those messages. Proving that they'll complain about it constantly, yet keep on watching the show no matter what.

You guys, if it sucks and you feel Trey and Matt are unoriginal and giving us extremely lame episodes.. then simply stop watching! I've found a few episodes 'disappointing' myself (we all have I'm sure) but I wasn't about ready to start a boycott! It's a half-hour tv show. If the ratings go so low that they decide to pull the plug, then so be it. In the meantime, it's there so live with it.

In reference to the posts about Cartman's father and how 'he is just a cardboard cut-out so don't take it seriously'.. the whole SHOW is a cardboard cut-out so don't become obsessed that if you are so upset with what you've been watching lately then you get all hysterical. Like that new thread that has started: write your OWN episodes and show US how funny YOU think the show can be. Don't think that because you've posted so many tiresome flames and many posters are sick of you that we'll just judge you instead of what you write and reply, "Ah.. your writing's not very good" - DO write a kick-ass episode and prove to us that there's actually someone witty behind the 'flame-resistant' costume you're wearing.
