Streisand is a SP fan?

I heard a gossip columnist say on tv that, according to his sources, Barbara Streisand got ahold of a tape of the Mecha Streisand episode. She not only loved it, but laughed her ass off.

I have a hard time believing she laughed through *all* of it. It was pretty harsh on her. And that monster *was* pretty scary. Scarier than the Mega-Poitier, anyway.

i saw that too. i think that it is great that she liked the episode so much.

I think most celebrities who find themselves the subject of extreme satire have a sense of humor and get a kick out of it.

George Bush had Dana Carvey as a guest at the White House.

Rush Limbaugh is said to have gotten a kick out of the B&B 'Gus Baker' and the Simpsons parodies.

When Wierd Al was asked if anyone refused permission for him to do a song or video parody, he replied that Michael Jackson had even lent him the sets to film 'Fat' and 'Eat It'. He (Al) could only recall once being turned down and that he wouldn't say who, only that he likes motorcycles, purple, and comes from Minnesota. Hmmm, wonder who? (But, if you don't know 'Shadow Dancin' by Andy Gibb, or who Scott Baio is, maybe that one zipped over your head too ;^) ).

Oh, and Eddie Murphy supposedly flipped when David Spade said (with a picture of Murphy displayed) "Hey kids, a falling star. Make a wish".
