OK, it wasn't the best episode of South Park, but it wasn't really SP, but rather the toliet humor (literally) of the kids' favorite show Terrance and Philip. Many of us were pissed, while others (including myself) knew it would be an April Fool's episode. The answer of who is Cartman's Dad will be announced (damn, that sounded like a game show emcee) on the season premiere which is scheduled for the second Wednesday in May. In the meantime, let's talk about how insane this episode was.
I think that this was the first show to play the Canadian national anthem that wasn't a sporting event. I couldn't believe that they really love that song THAT much, can they. I mean it's not a war song like ours but it's OK. T and P's nemesis, Scott (get it, Scott's T.P.), was a bit annoying and personally, I would have loved to see him get killed in the tradition of Kenny. I guess I just love that line "OH MY GOD!!! THEY KILLED KENNY (or in this case, Scotty)! YOU BASTARDS!!!" I think that they said the word dick more times than the censors allow, but the censors are a bunch of {the following tirad was CENSORED BY THE AMERICAN CENSORSHIP GROUP OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS, leading censors in the Land of Free Speech} and they can put that in their pipe and smoke it. Trey and Matt also took another shot at Celine Dion by having her being the mother of Terrance's (or was that Phillip's, they both look alike to me) farting daughter and singing the Iranian national anthem, I think, at the Rough-Riders/Rough-Riders (CFL reference to die-hard NFL fans that don't know better) game which was halted by chemical warfare.
It wasn't a bad episode, but it wasn't the best either. I just think that South Park could have done something a little bit better like, I don't know, show the pilot episode showing how the show could have been, or at least the Mr. Hankey Show pilot, which would have been on instead of SP (no joke!)
