Why was this pulled from syndication? I saw the episode once, but all I really remember is Bart and friends having a boy band. What tie-ins did it have to the whole WTC incident?

It wasn't pulled from syndication. Somebody on another Simpsons message board from Chicago said that it was on 2 weeks ago.
And two people on this Simpsons messageboard from Chicago agreed. Including me. I taped it in the nerdly hopes of seeing some cut they would make (besides Burns' line during the race).
