It was mentioned earlier that the animators obviously had never been to Toronto because the CN Tower and the Sky Dome didn't look right. That didn't bug me as much as this: During the montage that featured "Take Off (To the Great White North)" by Geddy Lee and the Mackenzie Brothers, Marge is first seen taking a picture of the Sky Dome, but the CN Tower is not in sight. Now anyone who been to Toronto or has even seen a picture of the skyline knows that the CN Tower is about fifty feet away from the Sky Dome. Then when Marge is taking a picture of the CN Tower she is in a completely different location and the Sky Dome is no where to be found. Another problem occurred when Bart and Homer are on the observation deck of the CN Tower. They see a body of water surrounded by green forestry. It is true that if you are on the south side of the observation deck you can see Lake Ontario but there is nothing close to trees anywhere in sight. All that surrounds Lake Ontario is the harbor, some condos, and some factories and warehouses. I highly doubt that trees could survive on that part of Lake Ontario, considering it is now officially the most polluted of all the great lakes.
