REVIEW: B-plus - albeit a "marginal" one (or should I say "Marge-inal"?); this one had potential, and there wasn't a copout ending of the subplot, although it did start to have the makings of a rake scene, but the minute I saw Lisa watching what Marge was doing, the ending was obvious (well, except for that Godfather Part II bit).

The new kitchen is much bigger than the old one.

Marge was frying something at the bake-off (after she put her dessert dogs in the oven), but nothing else was on the dish she brought into the judging area.

The sign outside Bart's treehouse said that you must be cooler than Milhouse to enter - so why was Milhouse allowed?

When Homer removed the ceiling light, there were no wires attached to it.

Lisa got a "gray eye" because of a painted keyhole, but the door had a metal plate (you can see the screws attaching it to the door), which isn't painted.

Brandine made a different dish for the final (with a pig) than she did to qualify (with an armadillo); you're only supposed to be judged on the dish whose recipe you sent in.

Actual scripts aren't usually made public. (You can't, for example, go to Fox and buy one.) There used to be online stores that sold scripts for various movies and TV series, but I haven't seen any in a while, and besides, they usually had just a small selection.

Technically it has the look of a transmission error - the CC actually says "is whiskey.ent" (the "ent" coming from "ingredient") - but obviously we know it was a last-minute edit. I guess it's time to take bets...I suggest that it stays this way (with the CC cleaned up, maybe) for the Fox repeats, and is untouched in syndication next year.

Seems like an odd thing, anyway - I'm sure plenty of kids with virgin ears would be satisfied with the explanation that it's "big freakin' deal," though parents sometimes dislike that too. Whatever...it's Fox.
