We finally have a geographic location for Springfield. Judging by the position in the Old Northwest, in addition to the river flowing out of town (clearly delineated as The Mississippi), we can now definitively place Springfield as Duluth, Minnesota.

I don't know if Shelbyville is Superior, Wisconsin, or another town in Minnesota, though.

There's at least one: The couch is in a psychiatrist's office, and Homer lies down saying "Help me Doctor, I'm crazy!" or something similar.

But yeah, very impressive gag indeed - one that deserves to be recycled again & again like that chorus line/Vegas one. Only trouble is its length - if they use it in syndication, they'll have to cut an extra 45 seconds or so from the show proper...
