Its as though the current young generation seems to embrace anything that celebrates inanity, and a general avoidance of anything intellectual/political/social. Yes, that is a generalisation of course, and should be taken as such... but I stand by it. I'm really not all /that/ old myself - but there sure is a noticeable difference in this particular department between 'us and them'.
