I just saw this for the second time ever, last night on syndication. This is a DAMN funny episode..I don't remember laughing that much the first time around. I loved all the metaphors ala Behind the Music, and the visuals that went along with them. Also, a classic line from Homer:
Homer: I guess you could say that the fame was like a drug..but what was even more like a drug was the drugs.
I particularly liked the line "It was amazing how quickly Dad betrayed his vision of a realistic show". good meta-humor there
