I give the episode a B+, with act 1 and 2 getting A's, and act 3 getting a C-. It's not just that it's an un-Lisa-like ending, but we know Lisa would rather have "won back" the college girls' respect than the fickle friendship of the second graders. In a good plot, characters follow their motivations. Lisa's motivation, especially since she's halfway into her freshman year in college now with 16 credits in the tank (heheh, nice touch), and given her intellect, would have been to continue to pursue college. Continuity be darned. :)

The professor says the I&S epcode is DABF06. This is the epcode for "The Bart Wants What It Wants", or February 17th's episode, per the archive. Was it originally going to be the epcode for this episode?
What's up with Milhouse screwing around in Lisa's cabbage patch? I thought he worshipped Lisa. Continuity goof, or bad writing?
"Look! Lisa's winning us back!" - a nice inside joke about predictable plotting!
