Simpsons on dvd release?

Does anyone know if there were/are talks of putting the simpsons on dvd? I know there are some video releases. I want to see box sets!

Well, the first season came out last year, and I think the second season is due this year sometime..

The first set can be purchased from the official Simpsons site and probably everywhere else, too. The great thing about both sets is the price, which is actually quite reasonable. <squints menacingly at Neon Genesis Evangelion box set>
