If you're a Simpsons fan you'll probably have seen an ep where Bart and Lisa hatch a plan to save the studio that makes Itchy and Scratchy... only to not get to tell us what it is, much less use it, upon discovering that the studio's already been saved. "That is so unsettling," says Bart. (Bigger fans would know the title of the ep was "The Day the Violence Died".) Well, I agree with Bart on that last comment there (well, at least where not getting to find out their plan is concerned anyway). I'd like to see what you think Bart and Lisa's plan was going to be. (Of course, feel free to go outlandish with the plans, after all, this IS "The Simpsons" we're talking here!)

Probably the same plan the Bart and Lisa's doppelgangers had, which was to sue the USPS for Mr. Zip's likeness to the stick figures of Roger Meyers Sr.
If it were something else, the ending wouldn't work quite well, would it?

I only saw the ep a couple of days ago and Bart and Lisa, while being annoyed made no reference to their idea being the same. I actually thought that the copyright plan to save the company was pretty weak!
Their plan really could have been anything.

Mr. Zip actually does exist. I have a picture of him in the margin on a set of stamps from 1976. And yes, you are correct on what he was used for-right next to him is the inscription "Use ZIP Code."
