I am sorry, but I think the episode was bad. The individual lines of dialogue were funny, but overall, it failed. Having a less complicated plot line to lead Homer to the medicinal doobie would have been better.

If you read this NG, you know I am not a troll. I am one of the majority here who are dismayed over the fact that our favorite show has reached the intellectual level of a Looney Tunes cartoon. Come to think of it, Looney Tunes are funnier.

There's not a whole lot of "dismay", among the regulars here, over the change the show has taken over time. You're definitely in the *minority* there. Most of the regulars with whom you try to identify have acknowledged the change, accepted that the show is different and have since moved on.

The majority of the complaints about the show come from one-time posters, aka trolls. I don't know why you continually act suprised when people tell you to go to hell for sounding just like them.

I'm an irregular regular, and I would say I am dismayed at the direction the show is in now. Of course, I don't lose any sleep over it at night, but I think the show has gone from an intelligently goofy comedy to a puerile show filled with cheap gags. I still watch the new episodes from time to time, but if there is something else good on TV at 7pm on Sundays, I will usually watch it.

It's sad when a show you have loved since the beginning degrades into something
you cannot stand.
