God, that episode sucked completely. "Homer The Moe" is the finest example that they should be canning the show right now, they're just doing far worse by staying. That was truly the worst episode ever. It wasn't about anything. It was bad jokes pasted together to form nothing. It's more apparent than ever that most of the irrelevant jokes are only there to take up time, even the story at the beginning. By god, they can syndicate this episode to 5 minutes and nothing would be missing. What can I say about the story? It started off with a couple-minute flashback of Bart digging a hole, and cut to Moe deciding to go back to a faux university, and if things *couldn't get any crazier!* Homer will have to take over! End act 1. Act 2? Something about a teacher walking into a pond and dying of cancer, some really bad jokes to expositize the "Hey, Homer sure isn't qualified at running a bar theme!", and a new-age bar. Homer starts his own bar (Craziness factor, hahahaha!) Then REM comes along, for some eco-shots. God's sakes, I'm the most obsessed treehugger imaginable and I've written better jokes. Most of the jokes there would be considered "nothing is sacred" if this was 1982 or something. Then there's some hunting trip, Homer shoots Moe, and the story is resolved. ?
