Anyway, just a few measly posts on a NEW SIMPSON'S NIGHT, and over at comp.sys.tandy (TANDY for Christ sakes!), there are at least twice or 3 times as many. And 75% of them are from somebody calling himself "Homer J Simpson".
As opposed to Homer Fong?
The episode would have made a good episode of LEAVE IT TO BEAVER.

Admit you're a Tandy fan. Come on, there's no shame in it. But I'll tell you why there have hardly been any posts here. It's because everybody is still posting to that stupid "Don't Name The President" thread. I wish that thread had never been started.
Now, let's get down to business: reviewing the new episode.
Sunday's episode was much better than the lukewarm season opener. It's always good to see Lisa act like an 8-year old instead of a mini adult. The dream sequences were nicely done, also.

You are right, and I promise that I will not post to that thread again. It really doesn't belong here; but quite frankly, compared to stuff at alt.politics, alt.politics.bush, et al, it is the height of civilized debate.
I did not like the dream sequence, though the rest of the episode was OK. It seemed a little "after school special-ish" in trying to "teach" Lisa.
Lately, "The Simpson's" is like an old, worn out comfortable sweater. You like it, it fits well, and it's comfortably familiar. But you would NOT buy it off the rack at Goodwill if you came across it.

Those groups are pretty bad, I agree. The posts there are along the lines of "Bush is a poop head". But I should never have posted anything to that thread, either.
As I said, it was considerably better than the season opener. And next Sunday we have. . .Maggie getting chicken pox. Wonder how that'll turn out?
