Are there any decent easy to use news readers that also has e-mail that supports pop3? getting real tired of the limitations of outlook express.
been searching the internet for hours. then i said hey let me ask them in the newsgroups. they use them everyday. they would know.

I use the Hamster proxy server, which handles both POP3 and NNTP, and can test any newsreader I wish, although I still use an old version of Xnews as my newsreader.

Switch to Linux, then use Kontact or Evolution.
