Lisa Forgets How To Dance

Funny how Lisa seems to dance very well at the beginning of Radio Bart, but forgets by the time the tap-dancing episode comes around.

Oh, I hate to get involved in one of these, since I'm in the "it's just a TV show" camp, but... Lisa's sort of just hip-hop dancing in the beginning of "Radio Bart." Tap dancing is quite a bit different, and talent in one style doesn't necessarily transfer over into another. Good ballroom dancers can be bad jazz dancers, and so on and so forth... and also, wizard. Now everyone's happy.

I am reminded of the episode where Bart and Lisa are watch The Itchy and Scratchy Show while Homer is in the kitchen. Lisa says something like, "Oh, cartoons don't have to be 100 percent realistic." Homer is then seen taking out the trash. He did not have enough time to get there. Both sides can find a good arguement here. (I hope I didn't make any major errors.)

Hmmm... I don't remember when Lisa became an atheist. I remember when she became a Buddist, a vegetarian, an activist... but not an atheist. I don't think that Lisa is an atheist at all, actually. She is by far the most spiritual of OFF, in my opinion.

What about the angel episode for that mall? She hated the fact that people thought it was an angel. The same girl that banned from watching stolen cable because she wanted to go to HEAVEN?! And I remember another one where something religious was offered to her and she was disgusted. I'm sorry, for I wish I could remember the circumstance.

That's pretty much an atheist, or at least a 180 from what she started as. The show has gone on for far too long. Maybe 6 seasons too long.

Young children usually go through a crisis of faith when they see that the simplistic vision of God and heaven presented to kids doesn't match up with the world as it is. There is evil, and sadness and faith isn't as simple as listening to a Sunday school teacher and believing it as is. Lisa has had many a crisis of faith. I think that you would have a hard time finding another character in the history of television who has had such a developed spiritual life.
