This was an abysmal episode. The plots were disjointed and just plain silly. (Hardly any cars have hood ornaments anymore but hundreds are parked on the street in Springfield?) Can a 2nd grader really be blamed for having too many interests? And Lisa already had a telescope ... from the optics festival in "Bart of Darkness." The perpetual daylight was a nothing but a reversal of Burns's evil scheme that led to his shooting. With so little to like, this gets an F.
