It's been a long time since I've laughed that hard, at anything. The gags were coming a mile a minute. During the skit beginning with Hamlet running in with the sword, I just lost it.
'Hamlet' segment=pure genius

Well, it was the best of the three segments, in a pretty weak episode.

Actually, I liked the episode, with the exception of the Ghostbusters ending. I particularly liked Ralph stabbing himself, and the setting- up of the spotlight scene in the courtroom in Act II which implied that God is actually Hans Moleman. All three of my favorite minor characters (Moleman, Disco Stu, and Prof. Frink) made appearances.
And come to think of it, I don't recall seeing CBG at all -- IIRC he wasn't even one of Marge's suitors in Act I. Woo-hoo!
Is the parking no longer ample?

Either it's coincidence, or you actually remember the sig I used for about 10 minutes... "Lighthearted apron not included. Snapping of fingers may not make food appear."

Hamlet was the best of the three segments. The Joan of Arc one was pretty bad, and what I saw of Oddysey (I admit, I missed the first half of it) wasn't very good either (although, loved the Styx part).
Better than The Tall Tales episode (ugh, that was horrid) and the most recent Halloween episode (ugh, that was horrid), but, c'mon people, Simpsons Bible Stories was a good bit better, don't you think?
Overall, I gotta say, this was one of the worst episodes all season.
Mike
"Simpsons Bible Stories" is one of my "worst episode ever" type of episodes.
"Simpsons Tall Tales" too.
But not yesterday's episode. That one was well done.
I agree! The THOH Episode last Halloween was not funny at all! I didn't laugh once! I remember when THOH was always one of my most anticipated episodes of the season- I loved the Halloween episodes.
Remember when they used to be funny? They recently showed the one with the Dracula skit in it and the spoof of Nightmare Gallery! I couldn't stop laughing!!
The ONLY good thing about Halloween is the Treehouse of Horror episodes.
Danes do it melancholy ...
