Thats just weird killing him off like that for no reason. I liked him. he was a pretty cool character IMHO.

I think his voice was very tough too to. Not sure that was the reason they killed him off though. :)

That would make for an interesting comeback. After all, Ned has lusted after at least one woman since Maude's been gone, and known another carnally. And he seems more or less adjusted to Maude being dead.

If she came back now, he'd probably be feeling very guilty. And there is the possiblity that he has adjusted or changed enough that he wouldn't want her back.

In the Simpson's 138th episode (The spinoff show), they have a quiz before each commercial. One of the questions was "What 2 popular Simpsons characters died in the past year?" Answer: "If you guessed Dr. Marvin Monroe and Bleeding Gums Murphy, you are wrong. they were never popular". I know this episode aired WAY before Maude Flanders died and I seen the episode where Bleeding Gums Murphy died. BUT how did Dr. Marvin Monroe die? Just curiosus. NOW this past Sunday's episode where Marge writes a book, Dr. Marvin Monroe comes back. He shows up for Marge's book signing. Marge said to him "I haven't seen you in years. Where have you been all these years?" To witch he replied "I been sick". Can anyone explain this? I'm confused.

I almost wished I had been! I've been dealing with fund raising for the arts group that I'm working for. And, I'm pretty much disgusted with the whole thing... what with artists being so lazy, petty, greedy, narrow-minded and full of themselves. Odd thing is - I'm pretty much a conservative, yet I joined this org. to serve the community. Yet, almost all the artists here (NYC-based) are liberals, and hate the idea that if you are community funded, you owe something to the community pretty much for the reasons I listed above.
