playing .asf file

i am still having a lousy time with this file. i have tried to play it in both, WMP and witih a DIVX player and the same result. Video but no audio Damned odd if you ask me

There's a software called GSpot, which analyzes Video Files and tells you the video/audio codecs you need. Don't know if it works for .asf files, but it's worth a try.

Try playing it with an older version on windows media player(if you're using 2000 or XP). Do a search for "mplayer2.exe", should be on your OS somewhere.
