On which day or year did the Simpsons make the number one episode? It must have more years than I have, I have 16 years and I have been making watch of this Simpsons since I have 8 years, making laughter with every episode having been watched.

The first ever Simpsons episode - is that what you want???
Well, the first made was "Some Enchanted Evening" (7G01), but that wasn't the first aired. The first aired was "The Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire" (7G08), also known as "The Simpsons Christmas Special".
Both episodes were made in 1989, but as far as I know, only 7G08 was aired in '89, the rest in '90...
All this is not counting the Tracy Ullman shorts, of course! These date back to 1987, if I'm not much mistaken!
