Is Moe Italian? (fwd)

I don't think Moe's first name is Momar. He used that name just to place illegal bets over the phone, didn't he?

In the "Be Like Bart" episode, Moe listens to his inner child who says, "Eh, Moe, whassamatta, you no talka wit your accent no more!" in a very Italian accent.

Also, in the episode where Grandpa needs a kidney, Moe says, "No no no...making Polenta, that's a procedure!..."

Yet, his last name is Syzlak (and at one point Homer finds out his real first name is Momar). What gives?

The episode was "Bart's inner child" and the phrase was "be like boy"

The name Syzlac is probably Western Slavonic (i.e. Czeck, Polish). BTW there is nothing contradictoring about this. He probably grew up in an Italian surrounding. That would mean either that his parents were divorced (and he had to live at his mother's) or maybe he's adopted.
