What does he call a tape recorder? I think he calls it a dictabelt but I cant remember if thats right.I guess he's to old just to say tape recorder.

I actually read an article not too long ago in Readers' Digest where a stunning new visual (laser, I suppose) technique will allow this team to investigate a cracked and broken Dictabelt recording of JFK's assassination. The whole thing was pretty interesting, but the relevance here is that it's more like a record - actually, more in shape like a wax cylinder. So, definitely not a tape recorder.
I'm sure the manual will indicate which lever is the velocitator and which the deceleratrix, hmm?
