It will suck as usual.
Grampa can be funny if used sparingly but it's going to be painfull to watch a whole episode (all episodes now are just one storyline, easier on the writers) just on him and a hot rod or whatever it's about.

if you think that the episode will suck, you will probably not be watching right? I mean, i think the show Malcolm in the Middle will suck so I will not be watching, that's what normal people do:
When they don't like a show, they don't watch it.
My prediction is that he's just trying to set himself up for the "see, I told you it would suck" post if it's not good.
I also predict that if it turns out to be a great episode, we won't see any "i'm a jackass, I was wrong, it was a great episode" posts from him.

Hmmm, I don't think anybody had any problems with episodes like "Old Money", "The Front", "Grampa Vs. Sexual Inadequacy" and "Raging Abe Simpson & His Grumbling Grandson In 'The Curse Of The Fighting Hellfish' " . All of those made Grampa the forefront of the plot and certainly didn't suck......

i'd also like to express my fondness for ... those particular episodes.
One of the funniest moments in the history of television is when Grandpa Simpsons kidneys explode because Homer won't stop to let him go to the bathroom...
And the spoof of the Graduate with Grandpa and Mrs. Bouvier is also damn pretty amusing...

One storyline, action ending, same old crap. Come to think of it the family or the townspeople hardly even split up anymore. The whole family solves Smithers murder, why couldn't Bart and Lisa do that and let Homer have an adventure of his own? The whole family gets counseling in the woods, etc.
