This is a public service so that these oft-asked questions can be answered once and for all. If anybody has more questions and answers (or a better answer to any of these questions) that you would like to add to this list, feel free.
1. Will the Simpsons be released on DVD? DVD is obsolete, Fox has signed an exclusive deal to release all of the Simpsons episodes on BETAMAX this year. They are asking that everyone who bought the first season on DVD to burn that set and to begin collecting the BETAMAX versions.
2. Is <Insert Character's name> gay? Yes, in fact every character on the Simpsons is gay. Don't let minor details such as spouses through you, they are just covers until said character decides to come out of the closet.
3. What state is Springfield in? This is one of the most controversial issues on the Simpsons. But Springfield is in fact located in a state of grandeur known as the television.
4. Why don't they just cancel the Simpsons since it has gotten so bad? There are 100's of channels available on television, if you don't like the Simpsons, don't watch it, rather watch a show about a talking baby on CBS or watch any of the other stupid, unbelievable, pieces of crap that are passed off as entertainment on television. If the Simpsons is bad enough that no one watched it then it would be canceled. However, the Simpsons is still one of the funniest shows on television.
5. When will there be a Simpsons movie? Never. Some members of the Simpsons creative staff have hinted that there may be a Simpsons movie but that will not happen due to the fact that in the MPAA requires that all Hollywood movies be either a stupid action movie with no plot, a gross out comedy intended for people with mental diffencies, or a sequel to an earlier movie that fell into one of those categories. The Simpsons movie would not fall into any of those categories and thus will never be made.
